Megan Kavanaugh is a registered Physiotherapist who graduated from Dalhousie University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and continued her education at Dalhousie University to achieve a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy in 2011. Since her graduation Megan has practiced in a variety of settings including but not limited to private health care, hospital based physiotherapy including acute care and outpatient orthopaedic clinics. Megan brings a multifaceted one on one perspective to treatment with a goal of determining the source of the issue to help her patients restore function and prevent the reoccurrence of injuries.
Megan has continued to expand her knowledge through many continuing education courses such as Acupuncture, Hip Rehabilitation and The Shoulder Complex to name a few. Megan has also obtained multiple teaching certifications including 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification as well as Clinical Pilates with a Pelvic Health Perspective.

Darlene has been a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating at the top of her class in 2000. She has worked in many areas from motor vehicle accident, sport, overuse and work related injuries to providing pregnancy treatments and infant massage instruction. She works with all ages from the very young to the young at heart. In 2004, she began working with breast cancer patients treating them post-surgical for compromised shoulder range of motion as well as scar healing and management. Darlene is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher offering a variety of classes, one of them being yoga specifically designed for women with any cancer diagnosis. Collaborating with the Breast Health Program through St. Joseph’s Hospital, together the goal is to provide best practice treatment approaches for optimal outcomes. In 2002, she received her masters certification in myofascial release.
She has held a number of positions with the College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick with the most recent being the Chair of the Complaints Committee. She is also a member of the Investment Committee for the Saint John Community Foundation and was a board of director for 2 plus years. Darlene has a genuine passion for giving back to the community through her volunteerism.

Lauren graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then ventured to Edmonton where she completed her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2010. After graduating, she worked in one of the only stand-alone rehab centers in the country, the Glenrose Rehab Hospital in Edmonton. She spent most of her career there working in stroke and brain injury and gained experience in treating other neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s’ and spinal cord injuries.
Lauren has also been working in the private practice setting, starting her career in a women’s health clinic. She has completed postgraduate training in Dry Needling, Visceral Therapy & Women’s Health. Lauren has had a very strong passion for pelvic floor physiotherapy since having her own children and is thrilled to bring her knowledge, experience and passion to New Brunswick. Lauren is a firm believer that the more women know about their journey in pregnancy and postpartum, the smoother the journey will be.
